·  Dodge the rush. Avoid driving at peak travel times. Your car's fuel consumption is doubled when sitting in traffic compared with driving at a steady cruising speed.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index has released the results of its annual investigation into the automotive industry, and the biggest winners hail from Japan.
