Every family has that one member that's...well...a bit different. In the case of the Toyota Prius clan, the crazy uncle equivalent is the Prius G. But just because the upcoming G model is slightly more aggressive than the rest, doesn't mean the Toyota family or any of its extended relatives like Metro Toyota don't fully love and accept it.

Slated to exclusively circulate the Japanese market, the Prius G won't be visiting for the holidays here in the U.S. However, we've kept close tabs on our foreign Prius kin and would love to share some of its most admirable qualities with those in the Cleveland area.

Based off of the Prius' S trim level, the upcoming variant has been developed in conjunction with Gazoo Racing. It displays a greater, commanding presence right off the bat thanks to 18-inch aluminum wheels, a larger muffler and racing stripes. Additional differentiating factors include an improved, concentrated suspension with altered springs and shocks. Despite outward distinction, the Prius G still shares the same gene pool as the Prius v and the rest of its family members. This means that under the hood sits the award-winning hybrid powertrain found in its highly-praised brothers and sisters.
